Hegewald returns to F2

Tobias Hegewald has this week announced he will be returning to the F2 series for 2011 after last year competing in GP3 with RSC Muke Motorsport in a mainly unsuccesful season in which he scored just 6 points.

The 21 year old German spoke about his return to the series. "I had a good time in F2, so I am happy to come back," commented Tobias. "I know all the people here already so it's like coming back home".

Hegewald will join an expected 23 other drivers for the first pre-season test at Silverstone on Tuesday, which is where the first 2 rounds will be held from 15-17 April.
