Ricciardo quickest again in Catalunya

This mornings session for the WSR 3.5 series sprung no suprises as a familiar man, Aussie Daniel Ricciardo was in his usual spot at the top of the sheets when the chequered flag fell.
The session continued from where it left off yesterday with the Catalan circuit drenched in rain, the quickest time posted on a wet track was by BVM Target pilot Sergio Canamasas with a time of 1'56"6 followed by Jake Rosenzweig.

With 1.5 hours remaining the rain stopped and as the track started to dry the times started to fall with Draco driver Andre Negrao setting a succession of fastest laps.
On an almost clear track Ricciardo came out for an 8 lap run with just over 1 hour to go and took over at the top with a string of fastest laps, the best being a 1'42"8.
As Ricciardo was in the pits making changes Briton Oli Webb and American Alexander Rossi took to the track and traded times at the head of the field quickly wiping away the 5 second defecit.

The red flags came out at the 40 minute to go mark after the times had tumbled and Ricciardo was fastest on a 1'38"8, Ramos, Webb, Rossi and Vergne rounded out the top 5.
After the restart the rain came back but quickly dried up enableing a few drivers improve their time until Anton Nebylitskiy brought out the red flag after an incident in sector 2 which with only 2 minutes left on the clock meant the session was over.
